Wednesday night was another big night in high school varsity baseball in Osceola County as the Celebration Storm took on the Lake Howell Silver Hawks at the Osceola County Baseball Stadium in Kissimmee for the FHSAA 2017 8A Baseball Championship Regional Quarterfinal game.

The Storm were good for 3 unanswered runs in the first inning as UCF commit #7 Adam Torres blasted an RBI double to kick things off and head the Storm in the right direction.

Torres took it to the Silver Hawks from the mound as he we was hurling the ball consistently over 80 miles an hour making it a struggle for Lake Howell to get the ball on the bat.

Celebration held the 3-0 lead until the 6th inning when they were able to add another run making it 4-0 in the quarter final game.

Torres and the Storm did give up the only run late in the 6th inning making the score 4-1, but it wouldn’t be enough as the Celebration Storm finished out the game error free over the Lake Howell Silver Hawks 4-1 and will face Hagerty High School in a Regional Semi-FInal Matchup.

Special thanks to Stewart Title for sponsoring Celebration High School tonight as they took on Lake Howell in the 8A Regional Quarterfinal.
