The Central Florida Expressway Authority has scheduled road and ramp closures associated with the State Road 417/Central Florida GreeneWay Capacity Improvements project for next week. See below for details:

• Sunday, March 12, from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.: The ramp from northbound SR 417 to Landstar Boulevard (Exit 14) will be closed for ramp work. Drivers will be directed to continue northbound on SR 417 to Boggy Creek Road (Exit 17B) and follow the detour signs. Click here for the detour map.

• Sunday, March 12, from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m.: Orange Blossom Trail under SR 417 will be closed for bridge work. Northbound drivers will be directed onto Town Center Boulevard and southbound drivers will be directed onto Whisper Lakes Boulevard or Deerfield Boulevard. Please follow detour signs. • Sunday, March 12, from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m.: SR 528/Martin B. Andersen Beachline Expressway beneath the SR 417 overpass will be closed for bridge work. Eastbound drivers will be directed to travel southbound on SR 417 to Dowden Road (Exit 24) and westbound drivers will be directed to travel northbound on SR 417 to Lee Vista Boulevard (Exit 27). • Sunday, March 12 to Thursday, March 16, from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m.: Orange Avenue under SR 417 will be closed for bridge work. Northbound drivers will be directed onto Town Center Boulevard and southbound drivers will be directed onto Wetherbee Road. Please follow detour signs. Click here for the detour map.

• Monday, March 13 and Tuesday, March 14, from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.: Northbound SR 417 from Orange Blossom Trail to Landstar Boulevard will be closed for sign work. Drivers will be directed to exit at Orange Blossom Trail (Exit 11), take Town Center Boulevard to Landstar Boulevard, and follow the detour signs. Click here for the detour map.

Please allow extra travel time. Due to weather and other unforeseen circumstances, work could be delayed. Motorists are urged to use caution in the construction area for their safety and that of the work crews. This work is for a capacity improvements project on SR 417 from International Drive to SR 528, which started in February 2021 and is expected to be complete by summer 2024.
