The City of Kissimmee announces the appointment of Roxane Walton as the new Director of Personnel & Risk Management for the City.

Walton was appointed to her new role following the retirement of long-time director, Beth Stefek. Previously, Walton served as the Assistant Director of the Personnel & Risk Management Department.

“We congratulate Roxane on the recent promotion. She has a strong understanding of the City’s organizational culture, the management team’s philosophies, the City Commission’s vision for the future and the desire to enhance the City’s standing as a great place to work,” said City Manager Mike Steigerwald.

Roxane came to the City of Kissimmee in 2016 with over 29 years of experience in various leadership roles in the Human Resources field.  This included an almost 13-year tenure as Director of Human Resources for the University of Central Florida (UCF), over 15 years of service in the private sector where she held Human Resources management positions at various technology, finance and insurance firms, and a several year stint as Human Resources Director for the Pasco County Sheriff’s Office.
