The City of Kissimmee hosted an “Inside Government” Day with Girl Scouts of Citrus on Tuesday, October 15th to share information and educate the community about the city’s form of government, its departments and to meet the City Commission.
“Inside Government” consisted of a City Hall tour, City Commission meeting and a one on one conversation with the City Commission to learn about the decisions they make to continue to improve the rapidly growing City of Kissimmee. The students earned a badge, and learned about the processes held at a local government level, and how they can become active citizens in their communities.
