The City of Kissimmee received a donation of 1,000 medical masks delivered by the Taiwanese Government on Thursday, June 11.

Mayor Jose Alvarez accepted the donation presented to the City of Kissimmee, and was intended to  make a good on Taiwan’s president Tsai Ing-Wen’s promise to assist Taiwan’s partners and continue fostering strong relationships in the community. The medical masks will be used by Kissimmee’s first responders, and is a welcome gift as Florida continues to see large numbers of Positive cases of the coronavirus.
