In a creative and engaging approach to civic involvement, Osceola County District 1 Commissioner Peggy Choudhry is inviting residents to the first-ever Game Night Townhall, set to take place on Tuesday, July 1, 2025, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at The Inn at Celebration, located at 700 Bloom Street.
The event offers a unique opportunity for residents to learn about the County budget through interactive gameplay. Attendees will participate in a budget simulation game where they can explore real-world challenges and decisions involved in balancing the County’s finances. Prizes will be awarded to the winning team, adding a fun competitive edge to the evening.
In addition to the game, participants will have a chance to connect directly with Commissioner Choudhry, receive updates about District 1 and the county at large, and engage in a Q&A session on various community topics.
“This is a fun way to get people talking and thinking about our budget,” said Commissioner Choudhry. “I want our residents to feel empowered and involved in the decisions that shape our community.”
The event is free to attend, and light refreshments will be served. To reserve a spot or for more information, attendees are encouraged to call 407-742-2387 or email Peggy.Choudhry@osceola.org.
