This Fourth of July, Walt Disney World Resort in Florida is pulling out all the stops to offer guests a patriotic experience filled with fireworks, festive treats, and tributes to American history. With events and activities happening across its theme parks and resorts, Disney is inviting families, food lovers, and fireworks fans to celebrate Independence Day in magical style.

Star-Spangled Fireworks Light Up the Sky

Magic Kingdom will once again present its fan-favorite nighttime show, Celebrate America! A Fourth of July Concert in the Sky, on July 3 and 4 at 9:20 p.m. This 360-degree fireworks spectacular, set to patriotic music, transforms the skies above Cinderella Castle into a stunning red, white, and blue display.

Over at EPCOT, the evening Luminous The Symphony of Us show will conclude with a July 4-exclusive finale, Heartbeat of Freedom, blending dazzling pyrotechnics with stirring tributes to America’s journey. Spaceship Earth will also join the celebration, glowing in red, white, and blue throughout the night.

Festive Flavors Take Center Stage

From funnel cakes to shortcake, Independence Day at Disney is a feast for the senses. Guests can enjoy the limited-time Patriotic Cake Bar at Amorette’s Patisserie in Disney Springs, a Caramel-Apple Pie Funnel Cake at Epic Eats in Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and returning fan favorites like the Berry Shortcake at Columbia Harbor House in Magic Kingdom. Honoring America Every Day

Walt Disney World pays tribute to American heritage year-round, with special experiences that are particularly meaningful on the Fourth of July.

  • Main Street, U.S.A. in Magic Kingdom, inspired by Walt Disney’s childhood hometown of Marceline, Missouri, immerses guests in early 20th-century Americana with vintage decor, barbershop quartets, and horse-drawn carriages.

  • The daily Flag Retreat ceremony, a tradition since 1971, honors U.S. veterans each evening in Town Square with patriotic music and special recognition for military service members.

  • At EPCOT, The American Adventure brings U.S. history to life through music by the Voices of Liberty and an inspiring Audio-Animatronic show led by Benjamin Franklin and Mark Twain. The adjacent American Heritage Gallery currently features Creating Tradition: Innovation and Change in American Indian Art and the extended exhibit Portraits of Courage: A Commander in Chief’s Tribute to America’s Warriors, featuring paintings by President George W. Bush.

Resort-Wide Independence Day Fun

Select Disney Resorts Collection hotels are also joining the celebration with seasonal activities including campfires, sing-alongs, Movies Under the Stars, and surprise character visits. Guests at resorts along Seven Seas Lagoon and Bay Lake can also enjoy the Electrical Water Pageant, which features a patriotic finale of glowing sea creatures, stars, and the American flag.

For more information and planning resources, guests can visit DisneyWorld.com. Valid theme park admission and, in some cases, reservations are required for in-park events. Offerings and availability are subject to change.

This Fourth of July, Walt Disney World invites guests to make memories and celebrate America’s spirit with magic, music, and moments that shine just as brightly as the fireworks overhead.
