In an inevitable move, Country Thunder and the RAM National Circuit Finals Rodeo, both set to take place within the month at Osceola Heritage Park, will not due to the uncertainty of the Coronavirus pandemic.

Country Thunder announced late Friday that it would move from its March 27-29 dates to October 16-18. Headliners Kane Brown, Dierks Bentley and Eric Church have all been re-confirmed for those new dates, a release on the Country Thunder Florida website reads. If you already have tickets and camping packages, hold tight — they’re good for the new dates.

“We look forward to the rescheduled dates in Florida and getting back to see some of the greatest country fans in America,” Country Thunder CEO Troy Vollhoffer said. “We have always strived for excellence when it comes to the fan experience. But there has always been an acute awareness that a great music festival begins with fan safety, and the comfort of patrons who attend our events.”

The rodeo, scheduled for April 2-4 at the Silver Spurs Arena, “has been canceled for these dates,” its website reads “Please check back regularly for updates,” unclear just yet if it will be rescheduled.

In addition, Kissimmee’s Kowtown Festival, it’s de facto birthday celebration, scheduled for March 21, has been canceled per the guidelines of  postpone all events with an anticipated attendance of more than 250 people.
