A crash on I-4 in Osceola County Saturday night left one person dead, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

Authorities said the fatal crash took place around 8:23 p.m. when an SUV, for an unknown reason, struck the guardrail and overturned on eastbound I-4 at the 58 mile marker.

The person in the SUV was pronounced dead at the scene, according to FHP. The crash caused FHP to close the lane temporarily Saturday night and is still under investigation.
