In a dazzling celebration filled with Disney magic, the Disney Treasure was officially christened, marking a new chapter for Disney Cruise Line’s fleet. The spectacular event featured stunning pyrotechnics, drone displays, and a heartfelt tribute to the Cast Members who bring Disney stories to life every day.

In an unprecedented move, Disney honored its Cast Members and employees as the official godparents of the Disney Treasure, symbolizing their vital role in creating magic for Disney fans across the globe. The christening culminated with drones forming a 65-foot-tall champagne bottle that burst into a dazzling finale of bubbling pyrotechnics, as voices from Disney employees recited a traditional blessing to wish good fortune on the vessel and its travelers.

The Disney Treasure, sister ship to the Disney Wish (launched in 2022) and the upcoming Disney Destiny (launching in November 2025), celebrates the theme of adventure and brings beloved Disney stories to life in new and exciting ways. From Broadway-style entertainment to immersive dining and thrilling attractions, the Disney Treasure promises a one-of-a-kind experience for families at sea.

The Disney Treasure will embark on its maiden voyage on December 21, 2024, sailing from Port Canaveral, Florida. Following its debut, the ship will begin an inaugural season of seven-night itineraries to the Eastern and Western Caribbean.
