The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) will hold a public meeting regarding project plans on U.S. 192 from Bamboo Lane to Main Street in Kissimmee on Thursday, August 3, at 5:30 p.m. at the Events Center at Osceola Heritage Park in Kissimmee, by phone, and virtually.
The purpose of this project is to construct safety improvements for pedestrians and drivers and to repave the corridor to extend the life of the roadway.
The Department is offering multiple ways for the community to participate in the meeting. All participants, regardless of platform they choose, will participate in the same live meeting.
Virtual Option: Interested persons may join from a computer, tablet, or mobile device at 5:30 p.m. For this option, advance registration is required by visiting bit.ly/3CxxJtz. Once registered, participants will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting online. Please use Chrome or Microsoft Edge as your internet browser to register and attend this webinar. If joining online, please allow adequate log-in time to view the presentation in its entirety.
Phone Option (Listen Only): Participants may join the meeting in listen-only mode by dialing 1-877-309-2074 and entering the passcode 340-442-885 when prompted.
In-Person Open House Option: Participants may attend in person by going to Osceola Heritage Park – Events Center (St. Cloud Rooms A & B), 1901 Chief Osceola Trail, Kissimmee, FL 34744 anytime between 5:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. to view a looping presentation and project displays, speak with project team members, and submit comments or questions.
