At the stroke of midnight on Saturday, resident ghosts of the Haunted Mansion at Walt Disney World Resort in Florida materialized in celebration of the new “Haunted Mansion” film now playing only in theaters.
The film is inspired by the classic Magic Kingdom “Haunted Mansion” that features a woman and her son who enlist a motley crew of so-called spiritual experts to help rid their home of supernatural squatters. A single mom named Gabbie hires a tour guide, a psychic, a priest and a historian to help exorcise her newly bought mansion after discovering it is inhabited by ghosts.
