Two men were killed early Monday morning in a crash on Interstate 4 after their vehicle left the roadway and struck a steel pole, according to Florida Highway Patrol.
The male driver of a Honda van was driving on I-4 near mile marker 64 around 1:45 a.m. when, according to troopers, the van left the roadway, struck a pole, and caught on fire.
The driver died at the scene, and the male passenger died later at the hospital, according to the FHP crash report. Neither man has been identified because of the severity of their injuries.
The crash remains under investigation.
