Are you old enough to know which fast-food burger chain used the slogan: “Where’s The Beef?”
If you’re young, we’ll tell you: it’s Wendy’s. And despite national news saying otherwise, local locations still have the the beef. So g’head and order up your Wendy’s burgers because when you order a Wendy burger and pull up to the drive-thru – they’re going to hand it over!
A national report has repeatedly reported that around 1,000 of Wendy’s 5,500 restaurants, or nearly 1 in 5, are not serving any hamburgers or other meat-based items due to meat shortages.
But an informal phone survey of 30 local locations, including Wendy’s in Kissimmee, St. Cloud, Haines City, Windermere, Davenport, Ocoee, and Orlando have, and are serving beef and burgers.
There is pressure on supply with some processing plants running under full staffing, and with most people still home and cooking there, demand is much higher for beef. But you’re good to go if you’re craving a burger around here, and if it changes, and we can’t “find the beef” we’ll be sure to let you know!
