The GOAA board is made up of seven members.
Five members are appointed by the governor and the other two are the Mayor of Orange County and the Mayor of the City of Orlando, as defined by the Florida Legislature.
He is expected to begin his duties at the next GOAA board meeting on May 19 at 2 p.m. in the Carl T. Langford Board Room at the Orlando International Airport.
His appointment is subject to confirmation by the Florida Senate.
In naming Mr. Weisheyer to the GOAA board, he will assume the seat held by Mr. Ralph Martinez, the board’s vice chairman, who has been appointed to the Central Florida Expressway Authority. Mr. Weisheyer’s term runs until April 2024. Congratulation to Mr. Weisheyer!
