The national average for a gallon of regular gasoline has increased by five cents to $4.24, while Florida is at $4.20, and Osceola is 5 cents less at 4.15 for a gallon.

According to new data from the Energy Information Administration, increasing gas demand and rising oil prices have pushed pump prices higher. Prices at the pump will likely face more upward pressure as oil prices remain above $105 per barrel.

Gas prices have seen a drastic rise from this time last year, when the average price was $2.88 per gallon.
