Hope Partnership, Inc. will host a ribbon cutting for its Hope Commons facility, located at 122 West Sproul Ave in downtown Kissimmee on June 2nd at 10 am. The new facility will be a centralized location for all Hope Partnership programs as well as a co-location for other not-for-profit organizations. Positively Osceola will be LIVE on Facebook for the ribbon cutting ceremony.
Hope Commons is located on the campus of First United Methodist Church of Kissimmee, bringing together Hope Partnership’s goal of partnering with churches
and community organizations.
Along with the Hope Partnership programs (Hope Center, Hope Works, and IDignity Osceola), three other nonprofits, Habitat for Humanity, iBuild, and Helping Hands Community Counseling will have offices in the shared space — with room for more tenants in the future.
“As both the CEO of Hope Partnership and a UMC Pastor, I am so excited to reimagine this building at FUMC-Kissimmee,” said Rev. Mary Lee Downey. “Co-location of services has always been the key to our mission of empowering our neighbors, strengthening our community and building hope. Having all our services in one downtown location gets us closer to our collective goal of making sure everyone has a safe place to call home.”
