FHP is requesting the public’s help in locating a white vehicle involved in a hit-and-run crash that killed a motorcyclist near Poinciana Saturday night.
A 28-year-old man from Kissimmee was driving north on Poinciana Boulevard when his motorcycle was struck by a pickup truck as he tried to turn left out of Isles of Bellalago Drive onto Poinciana Boulevard just before midnight Saturday night, according to the FHP.
Florida Highway Patrol said the crash caused the motorcyclist to be thrown from the bike and into the road, where he was run over by an unknown white vehicle that kept on driving after the crash.
The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash, the FHP said.
