A 37-year-old Kissimmee man was killed Saturday morning after the motorcycle he was driving crashed into the side of a van in Kissimmee, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The fatal crash took place just before 10:30am on Michigan Avenue in Kissimmee as a van, driven by a 38-year-old Kissimmee man heading southbound attempted to make a left turn onto Mill Run Boulevard in the motorcyclist’s direct path who was heading northbound, troopers said.
The motorcycle struck directly into the right side of the van.
The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the FHP crash report.
According to FHP the motorcyclist was wearing a helmet. The driver of the van suffered no injuries.
The crash is still under investigation.
