Today Orlando International Airport (MCO) kicked off what is expected to be the busiest holiday travel day of the season. They are expecting over 155,000 people to move through the Orlando International Airport as they make their way to visit friends and family.,  For the 21-day Christmas / New Year’s travel period, MCO is anticipating nearly 3 million passengers, or a 7 percent increase over last year.

“Our biggest gift to the traveler this holiday season is the expansion of available, easily accessible parking,” says Phil Brown, Chief Executive Officer of the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority (GOAA). “The new “C” parking garage provides our travelers a new option they previously did not have available.”

Once visitors to Orlando have left the terminal in Orlando they have a plethora of options for travel, from Uber to Lyft to the traditional taxi to friends and family. Whatever their choice is, they will be availed world-class entertainment and weather… a combination that we feel is second to none in the world!

Be safe this holiday season, and be grateful that you live in Osceola County and Central Florida… where so many others are desiring so highly to be!
