Congratulations to Osceola County Fire Rescue and EMS Administrative Lt. Robert Botkin and Financial Compliance Manager Christie Dyer-Kilcoyne for earning Osceola County’s Employee of the Month awards for the month of January.
The two were recognized for their roles in securing more than $5 million dollars in FEMA S.A.F.E.R. grants, which will add additional firefighters to the new Station 67 near Austin-Tindall Park on Boggy Creek Road.
Board of County Commissioner Chairman Brandon Arrington and County Manager Don Fisher presented the awards during Monday’s County Commission meeting.
