A woman was arrested for stealing an engagement ring worth $22,299.00 from a Kissimmee jewelry store, Osceola detectives report.

On Thursday, November 7th around 8pm, the Kay Jewelers on 3216 N. John Young Parkway was robbed by a woman who had asked to be shown engagement rings.

The woman was described as black, around 25-years-old, 5’ 4”, 135lbs with brown hair.

The employee directed her to the display case and began showing her a number of choices. The woman sat down and asked to see a 3.61-carat ring that was on display. After being shown the ring the woman grabbed it and ran out of the store and into the parking lot. The ring was valued at $22,299.00.

Robbery detectives from the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office identified the woman as Andrewnek Brown and has been arrested and charged with Robbery by Sudden Snatching and Grand Theft. She is being held at the Volusia County Jail with a $8,500 bond.

The Volusia County Sheriff’s Office assisted in the investigation and arrested Andrewnek. On December 4th.
