Osceola County’s Human Services Department is now operating out of a new, larger office off U.S. Highway 192 in the Mill Creek Mall. This Department, of course, has been critical in serving the needs of the community during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Human Services’ space has increased by more than 10,000 square feet, which allows all services to be under a single roof with significantly increased training, education, and conference space. There is also improved access and more parking.
Currently, like other County facilities, the Human Services lobby remains closed to the public, however in-person services for veterans are available by appointment.
Human Services provides families in Osceola County with assistance programs and referrals to services designed to improve their health and well-being.
Offices include Housing, Social Services, and Veterans Services. The department is also responsible for COVID-19 rental & housing, mortgage and utility assistance.
