An Osceola County Public Schools employee has been arrested on charges of possession of child pornography.

According to Osceola deputies, Osceola County School District network specialist 28-year-old Jason Warren, faces two counts of possession of child pornography after the agency received a cyber tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children on January 6.

Osceola County Sheriff’s Office detectives with the Internet Crimes Against Children Unit contacted Warren and seized his cell phone. With assistance of FDLE, the phone was unlocked, and the contents of the phone were provided to the Osceola Sheriff’s Office ICAC Unit for review.

On March 08, a warrant was obtained for Warren for two counts of possession of child pornography. On March 09 Osceola detectives, with the assistance of the school board, contacted Jason Warren and arrested him.

Deputies are reviewing the phone’s content to determine if additional charges may be forthcoming.
