Osceola County experienced its largest single day number of positive cases with 187 new cases on Sunday’s Florida Department of Health update.

This brings the county’s reported total of COVID-19 cases to 1780, with 190 hospitalizations and 24 corona-virus related deaths.

According to the Florida Department of Health of the tests reported on Sunday, 835 of the  test results were negative and 187 were positive, showing a positive test percentage of 18.3%.

The state reported 8,530 new COVID-19 cases and 29 coronavirus-related deaths on Sunday’s FDOH update.

The new cases bring the total in Florida to 141,075 with 3,419 deaths.
