Deputies with the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office Special Weapons and Tactics Team (SWAT) traveled to the United Arab Emirates to compete in the UAE SWAT Challenge. The eight members are competing against 59 other teams from all over the world.
The events include a Tactical Event, Assault Event, Officer Rescue, Tower Event and Obstacle Course. The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office team members will complete the competition on Thursday, February 14, and return home on February 15th.
Members of the team were Detective Robert Olesen, Sgt. Ryan Holl, Lt. Justin Boutilier (not competing), Capt. David Boisclair (not competing), D/S Dustin Stevens, Det. Danny Diloreto, Det. Heath Riley, Sgt. Glenn White, Det. Jared Fisher, Maj. Kevin McGinley (not competing), and D/S Clint Schroeder.
Positively Osceola has always said the Osceola Sheriff’s Office is world-class, and by traveling to the United Arab Emirates to compete, they’ve proven once again that this is true!
