Positively Osceola spends quite a bit of time at our “world-class” theme parks, and that includes one of our favorites… SeaWorld Orlando!
Last week Positively Osceola was shown the photos and promotional video that was revealed Tuesday at the annual International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions trade show in Orlando. We agreed not to publish the information until after Tuesday’s trade show, so now the public can see what we already have… an amazing thrill ride that will build upon SeaWorld’s amazing LIVE animal exhibits, shows and existing thrill rides!
SeaWorld creative director Brian Morrow said.“Infinity Falls will place our guests in the center of a river adventure in the middle of a tropical rainforest jungle that’s full of animals, record-breaking rapids and a record-breaking drop, the world’s tallest drop on any raft ride on the planet,”
The circular raft that was on display at IAAPA is one of 15 rafts for the future river rapids attraction set to open in summer 2018.
SeaWorld is really hoping that a vertically twisting water ride will be an attendance attraction for the Orlando theme park next summer. A “Sesame Street” land for kids is also on schedule to be built, but a date for that construction groundbreaking has not been released at this point.
Positively Osceola visited SeaWorld numerous times throughout its Halloween Spooktacular month-long event and witnessed some very large crowds on every visit. We’re expecting that trend to continue as the Christmas Celebration season is set to open.
We’ll be at SeaWorld Orlando for the opening night November 24th as well as all the other amazing theme parks in our community that will be “dressing up” up in high holiday fashion!
