The votes are in, and after tabulating the results, SeaWorld was voted the best theme park in North America, according to results from the online poll. Busch Gardens in Tampa Bay, also placed in the top ten by coming in fifth in the poll.

The remaining theme parks that made the 10 list include Silver Dollar City (Branson, Missouri), Kings Island (Mason, Ohio), Busch Gardens Williamsburg, Cedar Point (Sandusky, Ohio), Dollywood (Pigeon Forge, Tennessee), Six Flags Magic Mountain (Valencia, California), Holiday World (Santa Claus, Indiana) and HersheyPark (Hershey, Pennsylvania).

SeaWorld’s Ice Breaker coaster got the win in the best new attraction after debuted in February and narrowly beat out nearby Daddy Pig’s Roller Coaster at Peppa Pig Theme Park. SeaWorld is wasting no time in the rollercoaster world with new coaster construction taking place in the award-winning park.

Busch Gardens’ Iron Gwazi came in seventh, while Universal’s Jurassic World VelociCoaster came in ninth.

In the entertainment category Florida more than held it’s own including:

“Turn It Up!” at Busch Gardens came in second, while “Fantasmic!” at Disney’s Hollywood Studios was fifth, The Bourne Spectacular at Universal Studios Florida was sixth, “Harmonious” at Epcot came in seventh, “Disney Enchantment” at Magic Kingdom finished eighth, “A Celebration of Festival of the Lion King” at Disney’s Animal Kingdom in ninth and “Dark Arts at Hogwarts Castle” at Universal’s Islands of Adventure closed out the top ten.
