Whether you’re braving the summer heat or watching the skies during Florida’s afternoon thunderstorms, SeaWorld Orlando is helping guests make the most of their visit—even when the weather doesn’t cooperate. Through its Weather-or-Not Assurance program, the park offers a free return visit to guests whose day is significantly impacted by inclement weather.

Here’s what’s covered:
The policy applies year-round and offers a complimentary return visit when weather disrupts the day. Qualifying conditions include:

  • Rides closed for 60 minutes or longer due to weather (lightning, heavy rain, wind, extreme heat, etc.)

  • Early park closures or shortened hours

  • Daytime heat index of 110°F or higher

How to claim your return visit:
Guests must submit a request within one week of their visit either online or at Guest Services. A valid original ticket or order number is required. Once approved, the return ticket is valid for up to 12 months from the original visit date.

What’s not eligible:
The Weather-or-Not Assurance does not apply to:

  • Annual passholders

  • Complimentary tickets

  • Certain promotional or group tickets

  • Discovery Cove packages or 14-day tickets

Guests are encouraged to check with Guest Relations or visit SeaWorld’s website for full eligibility details.

Why it matters:
Central Florida’s weather can be unpredictable, and summer thunderstorms often arrive without warning. SeaWorld Orlando’s ongoing Weather-or-Not Assurance policy helps ensure guests don’t feel shortchanged when the weather disrupts their plans.

This guest-friendly initiative reflects SeaWorld’s commitment to providing exceptional experiences—rain or shine. So if clouds roll in during your next visit, rest easy knowing you may be eligible to return for another day of marine life, thrill rides, and family fun.
