During Thursday’s St. Cloud City Council meeting council members were updated on the ongoing 10th Street Complete Streets study. 10th Street runs from US 192, through the downtown corridor, to Narcoossee Road, roughly paralleling US 192.

The study is looking at possible improvements intended to make the street safer and more efficient while benefiting the local economy and connecting teh community more effectively. The project team updated Council members about the study and discussed a video that is available for those looking to learn more about 10th Street Complete Streets project.  It depicts proposals for different stretches of 10th Street. The video also shows how intersections might be improved. To view the 10th Street Complete Streets video visit: MetroPlanOrlando.org/10thStreetStudy

The video makes it possible for those who view the video to complete a 10-question survey, which is available through the end of February at: bit.ly/10thStreetSurvey2

10th Street Complete Streets project team members will be available at the St. Cloud January Monthly Market (Jan. 26 from 5 to 9 p.m.) for any questions or concerns the public might have.

Mayor Nathan Blackwell added, “We certainly would like to move forward as quickly as we can with improving that part of our city.”
