If you somehow haven’t heard of St. Cloud’s New Year’s Celebration you need to place this year’s amazing rockin’ block party on your calendar, because the City of St. Cloud, Experience Kissimmee and OUC the Reliable One are pleased to announce the 3rd Annual Rockin’ the Cloud event to be held on December 31st, in the newly renovated Downtown St. Cloud, from 7:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. This year’s event will feature food trucks, drink vendors and three stages of live entertainment with performances by Maiden Voyage, Slickwood and the headliner Supervillains, among others.
“City staff have been preparing for this event all year! We’re excited and would like to thank our sponsors for helping us make this all possible. Last year we had about 5,000 people attend, and with our recent downtown renovations, we’re expecting an even greater turnout,” said City Manager Bill Sturgeon.
This year’s parking options include:
St. Cloud City Hall
Centennial Park
Massachusetts Ave. (St. Cloud employee lot & Fisk Funeral parking lot)
Minnesota Ave. & 10th St.
Ohio Ave. & 10th St.
Indiana Ave. & 9th St.
The following street closures during the event begin at 4:00 a.m. December 31st until 12:00 p.m. on January 1st:
Pennsylvania Ave. from 10th St. to 12th St.
New York Ave. from 10th St. to 12th St.
Vehicles left on these closed streets during this time will be towed at the owner’s expense.
