There has been an overwhelming flow of support from the community to the families of Sgt. Sam Howard and Matthew Baxter, after the officers were senselessly gunned down a little over a week ago.
Business after business, organization after organization, and countless individuals have come together to make a positive difference to the families who were left behind by the killing of the heroic KPD officers.
That giving spirit continues with two local restaurants in St. Cloud establishing fundraisers that will benefit the families of the slain Kissimmee officers.
Gator’s Dockside has announced their ‘Back the Blue” day that will be held on Thursday August 31st. Gator’s Dockside in St. Cloud will be donating 25% of their proceeds all day to the families of Officer Matthew Baxter and Sgt. Sam Howard.
Directly behind Gator’s Dockside is the St. Cloud Outback Steakhouse, that will be donating 10% of each check from 11am to 11pm on Friday September 1st to the K.P.D. Fallen Heroes.
We thank both these businesses for once again putting a spotlight on the heart of our community. It’s another example of people making a Positive Difference in Osceola County. Local law enforcement agencies will be present at both locations as a sign of gratitude and support!
