The City of Kissimmee will once again celebrate Independence Day by hosting its annual Monumental 4th of July. This free event will take place at the Kissimmee Lakefront Park on Tuesday July 4 from 3-9 p.m.

This celebration includes live performances by our headliners SoulSwitch and 408, both based out of Orlando. The performances will happen on the main stage at Festival Lawn. Residents will also be able to enjoy food trucks, beverage concessions, and games.

The Kissimmee Utility Authority is hosting their KUA Kids Power Zone on the Veterans Lawn. KUA is bringing in inflatable slides, a slam dunk, a mechanical bull, and the ultimate bungee. Parents and kids can save time and skip the line by filling out a waiver in advance at www.kua.com/waiver.

For the first time, attendees will be able to check out various pop up performances throughout the Kissimmee Lakefront Park on the AdventHealth’s Local Stages.

This year to beat the heat, Toho Water Authority will be providing cold water to keep participants cool and hydrated. The City of Kissimmee encourages residents to apply sunscreen, wear light colors, and take shade breaks.

Attendees should be aware that there are several prohibited items during this event. No fireworks, coolers, sparklers, or tents are permitted, however lawn chairs and blankets are welcome on-site.

To close out the night, our fireworks display is anticipated to be at 9 p.m. weather permitting. We are expecting 10,000-20,000 people to attend our Monumental 4th of July.

La Ciudad Celebra el Monumental 4 de Julio

KISSIMMEE, FL – La ciudad de Kissimmee se prepara para celebrar el Día de la Independencia con la celebración anual de su Monumental 4 de Julio. Este evento gratuito tomara lugar en el Kissimmee Lakefront Park de 3-9 p.m.

Esta celebración incluye artistas en vivo como SoulSwitch, una banda que se enfoca en rock duro y del grupo alternativo 408, ambos de Orlando. Las actuaciones tendrán lugar en el escenario principal del Festival Lawn. Los residentes también podrán disfrutar de camiones de comida, concesiones de bebidas y juegos.
