Osceola a County is full of hidden gems and Susan’s Courtside Cafe is one of them. Located in Historic Downtown Kissimmee at 18 South Orlando Avenue, this quaint little cafe has so much to offer. Yesterday, April 1, 2019, Susan’s Courtside Cafe celebrated its 16th Anniversary of being in business. The house turned cafe was built in 1912, and to this day still holds all its historic charm. Owner, Susan Ramirez states that it took 6 months to rezone the house and then another year to complete renovations before they were finally able to open the doors to Susan’s Courtside Cafe. Susan, along with her children took a dream and made it into a very successful business. A warm and welcoming feeling takes over as you walk into Susan’s Courtside Cafe, almost like “you’re home”.

There is always someone there greeting you with a smile and that delicious smell of gourmet coffee is out of this world. The cafe is filled with memorabilia and antiques donated by members of the community, from tea pots to fire trucks and firefighter memorabilia that decorates the “Fire Fighter” room. Some of the tables in the main living dining area are made from the original cabinet doors. Needless to say this business was built with a lot of love and respect, not only from the Susan and her family but from the customers that walk through the doors each day.

Speaking of gourmet coffee, did you know that Susan’s Courtside Cafe gourmet coffee is from many different regions around the world and is freshly roasted in-house? Literally, they created and roast their own special blends to make up the gourmet coffees that are available each and everyday. Susan’s Courtside Cafe is open Monday – Friday from 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM.
