Forecasters are tracking a tropical system that they expect will become Tropical Storm Fred today as it makes its way across the Northeastern Caribbean.

Tropical storm conditions are expected in portions of the U.S. Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico beginning today and the Dominican Republic by Wednesday.

Tropical Storm conditions are possible in Northern Haiti and the southern Bahamas by late Wednesday.
