A 34-year-old passenger in a pickup truck was killed in a crash on I-4 early Tuesday morning after the pickup swerved and slammed into the rear of a semi heading eastbound near the Osceola Parkway exit.
Around 1:15am Tuesday morning a pickup truck driven by a 26-year-old Windermere man was heading eastbound on I-4 and came behind a semi also traveling eastbound on I-4 driven by a 44-year-old Bradenton man. The pickup swerved left and right them slammed into the rear of the semi’s trailer. The passenger in the pickup was pronounced dead at the scene, while the driver sustained minor injuries.
The driver of the semi was not injured in the crash. All parties in the crash were wearing seat belts.
