Two people are dead after the SUV they were in missed a turn on US 192 near World Drive and overturned into a nearby pond in Osceola County, according to Florida Highway Patrol.
Just before 2:30 am a 25-year-old man from Valrico Florida was driving westbound on US192 when he failed to negotiate a turn, causing his SUV to overturn into a pond near World Drive.
The passenger, a 28-year-old woman from Louisiana, was pronounced dead at the scene. The drive died later at Celebration Hospital, according to FHP.
The crash remains under investigation.
