If you’re one of those people that has been watching day after day for the announcement that Disney will begin selling annual passes again, then this is your day – because the wait is almost over.

In 2020 Disney made the decision to cease selling annual passes while they focused on limiting the number of guests inside its parks. Many entertainers were not performing, social distancing was taking place park-wife, and the number of guests was limited, so it was obvious Disney was taking the pandemic seriously as the behemoth in the theme park industry.

The company did allow existing pass holders to renew their annual passes, but those waiting to purchase new annual passes were left waiting and waiting and waiting…

That all changed on Tuesday when the Disney Parks Blog reported that the passes will be once again offered in time for the start of Disney’s 50th-anniversary celebration…
Not sure when they will open the flood gates… but it’s coming!

Walt Disney World’s 50th is sure to be magical in every way, and now those who have been clamoring for an annual pass to enjoy the 18-month celebration will have their Disney wish!
