If you’ve lived in Florida long enough, you may have experienced a light dusting of snow a few times, and pretty much  every year the temperature dips into the 30s. But, Positively Osceola can now predict that snow is coming to Florida!

Snowcat Ridge, the first Florida Snow Park of its kind is projected to arrive in Dade City November 2020, and will feature a 60-foot-tall, 400-foot-long snow tubing hill. For those guests who long to really play in the snow, they’ll be able to make snow men or snow castles with real snow inside a snow dome.

For the very young riders, Snowcat Ridge will have a child-sized version of their snow hill, located inside of their snow dome.

This isn’t just about daytime fun. Evenings will be magical at Snowcat Ridge, with a light show on both the snow hill and in the snow dome that Snowcat Ridge promises is unlike anything you’ve seen in Florida.

So, snow fans, or those who’ve always wanted to play in the white stuff like Frosty, it’s going to snow in Florida in the not too distant future!
