KISSIMMEE, Fla. — A 19-year-old Kissimmee man who was previously arrested on child sexual abuse material charges in 2023 has been arrested again following a new investigation by the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Unit.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, detectives began investigating after receiving information concerning suspected online child exploitation activity. During the course of the investigation, authorities identified David Daniel Martinez as the suspect.
On July 21, detectives executed a court-authorized search warrant at a Kissimmee residence, where Martinez was taken into custody without incident. He was subsequently booked into the Osceola County Jail.
Martinez is charged with possession or control of child sexual abuse material, unlawful use of a two-way communication device, use of a computer or electronic device to solicit a person believed to be a minor, and transmission of material harmful to minors.
Investigators said Martinez has a prior history with the Sheriff’s Office ICAC Unit. In 2023, he was arrested on 10 counts of possession of child sexual abuse material. According to the Sheriff’s Office, Martinez completed a term of probation related to that case in December 2025.
The Sheriff’s Office said the current investigation remains active and that no additional information is being released at this time in order to preserve the integrity of the case.
The Internet Crimes Against Children Unit is responsible for investigating crimes involving the online exploitation of children and works in partnership with local, state, and federal agencies to identify offenders, protect victims, and combat internet-facilitated crimes against minors.
