Located at 1575 Future Way, Suite D5, in the Celebration Pointe Plaza, the restaurant brings its signature elevated fast-casual dining experience to the heart of the community. This latest addition is owned and operated by local entrepreneur Kevin Carmean, further enhancing the area’s vibrant dining scene.
Staying true to its mission to “Live Your Life Deliciously,” The Great Greek Mediterranean Grill offers a menu inspired by traditional family recipes passed down through generations. Guests can enjoy fan-favorites like The Great Greek Gyro and savory Souvlaki plates featuring lamb, steak, or chicken—all made in-house with high-quality, fresh ingredients. The menu also boasts customizable options, including the Classic Greek Salad and Rice Bowl, which can be tailored with gyro meat, salmon, or other flavorful choices to suit every taste.
“The Celebration restaurant marks our fifth opening in the Orlando-area, and we’re excited to expand our presence to a popular area that draws millions of visitors from around the world each year,” said Carmean, who has been a franchise owner of The Great Greek Mediterranean Grill since 2019. “We’ve cultivated a loyal customer base by consistently serving phenomenal-quality food paired with exceptional service, and we’re looking forward to providing that same level of hospitality at our Celebration location.”
Enhancing the vibrant culinary experience are irresistible side dishes such as freshly prepared Feta Fries, crisp Greek salads, and a selection of four signature house-made dips: creamy Hummus, tangy Tzatziki, smoky Melitzanosalata (eggplant dip), and spicy Tirokafteri (roasted red pepper dip). Carmean recommends the Gyro Plate, an entrée featuring marinated sliced meat served with pita bread, rice pilaf and a choice of french fries or Feta Fries. “The lamb Gyro Plate is my favorite,” Carmean said. “The meat is tender and juicy after being perfectly marinated and then slow roasted on a vertical rotisserie.”
Born and raised in Michigan, Carmean has lived in Florida for over 20 years and is an active member of the community. In his free time, Carmean enjoys traveling, camping and playing sports with his wife and children. Before joining The Great Greek Mediterranean Grill, he spent most of his career as a sales manager, specializing in business management education.
The Great Greek Mediterranean Grill Celebration is open for dine-in, pick-up, catering and delivery Sunday through Thursday from 10:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Friday through Saturday from 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. The 2,350-square-foot restaurant seats 62 guests in the dining room and 16 outside on the patio.
