The City of St. Cloud, in partnership with the Osceola Council on Aging, has provided more than $500,000 in federal Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funding to support significant upgrades at Tracey Manor, a local senior living community on 19th Street.

In previous years, City employees have volunteered at Tracey Manor, lending a hand with painting and landscaping efforts. On Wednesday, those efforts reached a new milestone as the City’s Economic Development Department hosted a ribbon cutting to celebrate the completed renovations made possible through the grant.

The CDBG funds were used to carry out a series of much-needed repairs and improvements designed to enhance the quality of life for residents, including:

  • Replacement of fencing
  • Installation of new windows and doors
  • Updated kitchen cabinets and countertops
  • Energy-efficient refrigerators and ranges
  • A brand-new gazebo for outdoor enjoyment
  • Improved parking and driveway access for emergency vehicles

“We are excited to see the beautiful improvements here, and we know the residents are already enjoying them!” City Manager Veronica Miller said during the ribbon cutting ceremony.

These enhancements reflect the City’s ongoing commitment to investing in our senior communities and ensuring safe, comfortable, and vibrant living spaces for all residents.
