The Simon Wiesenthal Center’s Mobile Museum of Tolerance has arrived in Osceola County, delivering its powerful, interactive educational experience to the Hart Memorial Central Library in Downtown Kissimmee and the Poinciana Branch Library, where it aims to confront bias, bigotry, and discrimination within the community.

With a mission to inspire moral courage, promote civil rights, and educate the public about the Holocaust, the MMoT offers a series of facilitator-led workshops that are open to all residents, students, and families.

Each session invites participants to engage with interactive exhibits and explore topics such as the life of Anne Frank, the American Civil Rights Movement, and the modern-day challenges of hate and intolerance. The initiative is part of a broader statewide effort that has already reached over 3,000 Floridians through more than 100 workshops at schools, festivals, and community centers.

The workshops aim to empower individuals to become “upstanders” in their daily lives—choosing action over silence when confronted with prejudice or injustice.

As hate crimes and societal division continue to make headlines nationwide, the Mobile Museum of Tolerance offers a timely and essential resource for Osceola County, fostering dialogue, empathy, and community resilience.

All workshops are free to attend and led by trained educational staff from the Simon Wiesenthal Center.
