The State of Florida has now logged over 2,000 deaths from the coronavirus, the Florida Department of Health reported this morning.

There are now 2,049 fatalities linked to the virus, 52 more than yesterday. Seventeen of them have come from Osceola County, ranging in age from 55 to 102.

Osceola County added just two new COVID-19 overnight and now shows 629, with 153 hospitalizations. The entire state added 552 cases and now logs 46,994.
