The Education Foundation of Osceola County’s mission to educate children, and support educators in doing that, is an “unstoppable force” now that all learning through the state is being done remotely and online.

Osceola County’s school district is backed by a community of supporters who believe in the cause: the Education Foundation Osceola County, who has not stopped backing everyone involved in the education process — students, parents, families, teachers, support staff and administrators — despite the coronavirus pandemic.

The Foundation is in need of monetary donations to its online COVID-19 Giving Campaign to help raise funds for laptops, school supplies, hygiene products, and food and clothing.

If you are able, and would like to support this great organization please consider supporting the Education Foundation. They need your help… so they can continue to help. Please consider partnering with the Education Foundation by visiting FoundationOsceola.org and making a donation.

Here’s some words from Education Foundation Executive Director Kerry Avery:

While we all scramble to redefine the way we work and live, the Education Foundation continues to offer support to make the transition a little easier.

The offices of your Education Foundation are still open and supporting teachers, students and families.  That’s why we’re asking you to help us. Consider making a one-time donation or becoming a monthly donor.

I continue to be amazed and inspired by the many ways that our community adapts to challenges. Please remember our heroic teachers, principals and staff who are working tirelessly on behalf of the students and families of Osceola County.  We thank you for your dedication to those we serve and ask you share our support request with your business partners, co-workers, friends and family.

I’m confident that we’ll get through these challenges and emerge as a stronger community.  Wishing that you and your loved ones may remain safe and healthy!
