The City of Kissimmee Public Works & Engineering Department announced a new traffic pattern that has been implemented on Carroll Street as part of the Carroll Street Widening Project.
Northeast traffic has been shifted to the newly paved travel lanes. As part of this project, a total of four lanes were constructed; however; until the final layer of asphalt is complete, only one lane will remain open on each side for northeast and southwest traffic.
The Carroll Street Widening Project includes the construction of a four-lane divided roadway with sidewalks and street lighting on both sides from Thacker Avenue on the east to Donegan Avenue on the west.
