A cocaine trafficking conspiracy that stretched across multiple homes in Kissimmee has come to a close with five local residents pleading guilty to federal charges—one of whom now faces up to 40 years in prison.

According to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Middle District of Florida, 26-year-old Luis Ruben Martinez Calderon entered a guilty plea on June 5, making him the final defendant in a federal case that targeted a cocaine distribution network operating out of residential neighborhoods in Osceola County.

Federal court documents show that Martinez Calderon supplied cocaine to street-level dealers, including 34-year-old Quamain Alique Barber. Investigators say Martinez Calderon stored cocaine both in his apartment—shared with his girlfriend, Aisha Nicolle Sanchez—and at his mother’s residence. Both women, Sanchez, 25, and Evelyn Calderon, 57, also pleaded guilty to drug conspiracy charges last month.

The investigation uncovered that Barber, while under surveillance, sold cocaine to an undercover officer in January and quickly returned to Martinez Calderon to restock. Authorities said Sanchez later retrieved at least two kilograms of cocaine from Evelyn Calderon’s home, which was delivered back to Martinez Calderon for further distribution.

Martinez Calderon also worked with Bernardo Antonio Brea, 31, to secure more cocaine for Barber to distribute. When law enforcement executed arrest warrants on February 6, Brea and Barber were found in possession of firearms and prepared packages of cocaine. Brea, who had already pleaded guilty to a prior firearms charge just a week earlier, was legally prohibited from having a gun.

All five individuals have now pleaded guilty and face significant prison time:

  • Luis Ruben Martinez Calderon – Conspiracy to distribute cocaine (5 to 40 years)

  • Quamain Alique Barber – Drug conspiracy and firearm possession in furtherance of drug trafficking (up to life in prison)

  • Bernardo Antonio Brea – Drug conspiracy and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon (up to 35 years)

  • Aisha Nicolle Sanchez – Drug conspiracy (5 to 40 years)

  • Evelyn Calderon – Drug conspiracy (5 to 40 years)

The investigation was part of a coordinated effort led by the FBI’s Safe Streets Task Force and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, with assistance from the Kissimmee Police Department, the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office, and the Florida Highway Patrol. Prosecutors say the case is part of a broader strategy by the Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Force (OCDETF) to disrupt high-level criminal operations.

No sentencing dates have been announced yet.
