A 21-year old man from Kissimmee died after his motorcycle crashed  into a car that was stopped on Simpson Road in Kissimmee Wednesday afternoon, injuring the driver of the stopped car, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

Troopers said the 21-year-old motorcyclist was traveling south on Simpson Road in the outside lane near Marisol Loop, with an SUV stopped ahead of him.

The motorcyclist failed to stop, striking the rear of the Mitsubishi Outlander throwing the rider from his motorcycle and injuring the 82-year-old man driving the SUV.

The motorcyclist and driver of the SUV were both taken to the hospital, where the driver of the motorcycle was pronounced dead, troopers said. The 82-year-old man driving the SUV sustained minor injuries, according to FHP.

This crash remain under investigation.
