The Osceola Council on Aging celebrated serving the community for over 50 years by hosting a Virtual “Golden Anniversary Brunch” on Wednesday.

Members of the community showed their support of the council by purchasing meals to go (Chicken & Waffles) made by Big John’s Rockin BBQ by the Lake and picked up at the Osceola Council on Aging. The Golden Anniversary Virtual Brunch raised over $10,000, along with awareness and support, in order to continue serving the community for the next 50 years!

Monies raised will help provide over 1,000 meals to Meals on Wheels Osceola clients throughout the Osceola County community.

Wendy Ford, President of the Osceola Council on Aging said, “Our clients need our help more than ever and we are grateful to our community for helping us to continue our efforts and services for this great place we call home.”
