The School District of Osceola County has approved the following administrative appointments:  

Ashton Terry, Principal of Koa Elementary
During his career, Ashton Terry has held the following positions: Teacher at Cypress Elementary (2006-2010); Teacher at East Lake Elementary (2010-2012); Learning Resource Specialist at Poinciana Academy of Fine Arts (2012-2014); Assistant Principal at Orlo Vista Elementary in Orange County (2014-2015), and Assistant Principal at Poinciana Academy of Fine Arts (2015-present). He received his bachelor’s degree in Education from Ohio University and a master’s degree in Educational Leadership from the University of Central Florida.

Randy Wheeler, Coordinator of Transportation
During his career, Randy Wheeler has held the following positions: Manager of Operations/Project Development and Senior Fleet Administrator in Transportation Services for Orange County Public Schools (2003-2011); Assistant Director and Acting Director for Transportation Services for Brevard Public Schools (2012-2018); and Supervisor of Operations in Transportation for the Osceola School District (2018-present). He received his AA degree from Valencia College, and he served in the U.S. Army/U.S. Army Reserve as an Aviation Officer during a variety of active duty assignments, including Operation Desert Shield and Desert Storm.

Dontarrious Rowls, Coordinator of Transportation
During his career, Dontarrious Rowls has held the following positions: Safety Training and Recruiter (2013-2016); Route Supervisor (2016-2018); and Project Manager for Leon County Schools (2018-present). He received his bachelor’s degree in Organizational Psychology from Saint Leo University.

Dr. Millie Torres, Assistant Principal at Bellalago Academy
During her career, Dr. Millie Torres has held the following positions: Teacher at P.S. 132 Juan Pablo Duarte School in New York (2003-2005); Teacher at Sunrise Elementary (2005-2011); Teacher at Bellalago Academy (2011-2015); and Dean of Students at Bellalago Academy (2015-present). She received her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Bernard Baruch College of the City University, a master’s degree in Bilingual Childhood Education from The City College of the City University of New York, and a doctorate degree in Instructional and Curriculum Leadership from Northcentral University.

Jack Carr, Assistant Principal at Liberty High
During his career, Jack Carr has held the following positions: Teacher at Discovery Intermediate (2009-2011); Teacher at Celebration School (2011-2015); Literacy Coach and Dean of Students at Celebration School (2015-2018); and Dean of Students at St. Cloud Middle (2018-present). He received his bachelor’s degree in Middle Childhood Education from Walsh University and a master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Stetson University.

Esther Towers, Assistant Principal at oTECH – Poinciana
During her career, Esther Towers has held the following positions: Teacher at Kissimmee Middle (2000-2006); Teacher at PATHS (2006-2015); Dean of Students at Gateway High (2015-2018); and Dean of Students at oTECH (2018-present). She received her bachelor’s degree in Health, Physical Education, and Recreation from the University of North Carolina at Pembroke and a master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Southeastern University.

Annette Kalloo, Assistant Principal at Poinciana Academy of Fine Arts
During her career, Annette Kalloo has held the following positions: Paraprofessional at Deerwood Elementary (2007-2008); Teacher at Poinciana Academy of Fine Arts (2008-2012); Teacher at Narcoossee Middle (2012-2014); LRS/Literacy Coach at Horizon Middle (2014-2017); and District Resource Teacher for the Osceola School District (2017-present). She received her bachelor’s degree in Criminology from the University of Florida, a master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Phoenix, a specialist degree in Educational Leadership from Nova Southeastern University, and is a candidate for a doctorate degree in Curriculum and Teaching from Nova Southeastern University.

Nathan Deright, Assistant Principal at Kissimmee Middle
During his career, Nathan Deright has held the following positions: Teacher at Kissimmee Elementary (2004-2010); Dean of Students at Denn John Middle (2010-2013); and Assistant Principal at East Lake Elementary (2013-present). He received his bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Keuka College and a master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Nova Southeastern University.

Cheri Knoebel, Assistant Principal at East Lake Elementary
During her career, Cheri Knoebel has held the following positions: Teacher at Central Avenue Elementary, Kissimmee Elementary, and Ivey Lane Elementary (1997-2004); Reading Coach at Ross E. Jeffries Elementary (2004-2005); and Elementary Instructional Resource Teacher for the Osceola School District (2005-present). She received her bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Mount Union College, a master’s degree in K-12 Reading Education from the University of Central Florida, and certification in Educational Leadership from Stetson University.
